Ineke Hans

Ineke Hans (the Netherlands, 1966) graduated at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Arnhem, 3D design (1991) and at Royal College of Art, London, furniture design (1993-1995).Hans worked from 1995-1997 as a freelancer for Habitat UK, London. In 1998 she founded studio INEKE HANS in Arnhem and in started the 2002 INEKEHANS©OLLECTION.

She collaborated with various companies such as: Cappelini, Magis, Cor Unum, Swarovski – Crystal Palace, Arco furniture, Royal Van Kempen & Begeer and Royal Leerdam.
Awards: 2006 Red Dot Award (bowl and spoon for Royal VBK); 2005 DesignPLUS Award (garlic crusher for Royal VBK); 1997 Furniture Futures Award 1997 winner (Design Week Magazine UK).
Solo exhibitions: Tools Gallery, Paris and Vivid Rotterdam, 2006; ‘True Life’ in all period-rooms at Gemeente Museum The Hague, 2003.
Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions and fairs all over the world.

Her designs have been purchased by international museum collections: Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam; Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam; Textile Museum Tilburg (NL); National Glassmuseum Leerdam (NL), Crafts Council London; FRAC France; Gemeentemuseum Den Haag (NL); Nationaalmuseet Stockholm (Sweden); Design Museum Essen (G); Victoria & Albert Museum (GB).
