Onno Boekhoudt ( 1944 - 2002) was born in Hellendoorn, the Netherlands. He graduated at the Staatliche Kunst- und Werkschule Pforzheim, Germany in1968.
From 1974-1990 teacher at the Silver- and Goldsmithing department ofthe Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam and from 1990- the present at theGoldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork + Jewelry Department of the RoyalCollege of Art, London. Exhibitions include: 'Jewellery in Europe and America, New times, New thinking', Crafts Council Gallery, London (1996) and 'Onno Boekhoudt/Why not Jewellery?', Groninger Museum, Groningen, the Netherlands (1997).
Awards: Fran?oise van den Bosch Award 1996. Jewelry and objects included in collections of: Museum voor Moderne Kunst, Arnhem;
