Philipp Käfer was born in Neuburg, Germany in 1882. He graduated at the University of Applied Sciences of Coburg in 2008 where he studied Integrated Product Design. After gaining diverse working experiences both as a product- and a jewellery designer in Erlangen, Sydney, and Amsterdam he started his own studio in Berlin in 2011.
