PAOLO PALMA - THORNS A picture was all the students at the Vakschool Schoonhoven had to go on as they set about realizing Paolo Palma's idea of thorns that could be stuck to the skin. The flesh-coloured thorns, available in a range of sizes, were cast in latex and can be attached to the skin using cosmetic glue. Paolo Palma was born in Fermignano in 1973. He attended the State Art Institute and the Superior Institute for Artistic Industries in Urbino. Having built up his experience at Studio Dolcini Associati in Pesaro, he has worked independently and as a graphic consultant for Fabrica - the Centre for Communication Research and Development created by the Benetton Group.
